So customer service is in the Philippines and they do not care.
Imagine your card is stolen or someone uses it illegally or a person charges you the wrong amount. You want them to block the transfer. They won’t do that and they just don’t care. I was charged $1462.00 instead of $146.20. Maybe a wrong entry from the cashier: a mistake. So I had $1300 in the bank until pay day. What do you think happens? No they told me they had to wait until it was pending so I lost my new job and I lost everything because of them. They even reversed the transaction but it didn’t matter I didn’t get to work the next day and I lost my job because I was still in the probationary period. I hate Fifth Third Bank.
It gets much worse: The woman who refused to help me, I told her “Thanks for not caring about anyone but yourself, I mean why would you?” I get the money back having to return home having lost my job and then I find out that the woman froze my account and my card so I was on the street until the next business day when I was able to get the money from the teller who didn’t care at all and told me my story was a waste of time in order to go back to my mother’s house.
I hate this bank it’s people: DO NOT USE THIS BANK.
